"Confronting our feelings and giving them appropriate expression always takes strength, not weakness. It takes strength to acknowledge our anger. It takes strength to face our sadness, and to grieve, and to let our grief and our anger flow in tears when they need to. It takes strength to talk about our feelings, and to reach out for help and comfort when we need it."

I believe we all have the ability to overcome life's many challenges. But sometimes we can get stuck. Stuck in unhealthy patterns of thoughts and behaviors that prevent us from leading fulfilling lives. We are not alone in this. We all need a little warmth, kindness, honesty and understanding, and it is ok to ask for it. But just like Mr. Rogers says - it does take strength and courage. This is the time to call on our strength and reach out for help. In my role as a therapist, I can help you recognize your own strength and resilience. I can help you gain insight by creating a safe, comfortable, non-judemental environment where you can work on these issues and learn how to best help yourself.
