Sometimes words are not accessible or the preferred means of communication; therefore, by using the creative process, clients have a different way to express themselves. Regardless of age, art therapy can be beneficial and therapeutic. Whether; it is the process of creating or the processing of the art, both can be utilized. My main goal is to provide a safe environment where clients can freely share and heal.

I am a Licensed Professional Art Therapist (LPAT) in New Jersey. I have experience working with clients of varied ages, especially children and adolescents from 3 to 18 years of age. I have worked with clients who have experienced trauma, mainly domestic and sexual violence. As well as clients who want to work on self image, self esteem, anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. I received a Master's degree in art therapy from Marywood University in Pennsylvania. I am also Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Bowen Family Systems theory trained. My approach is client-centered and humanistic. I use the creative process as a way to engage clients, communicate, and analyze issues clients might bring into the session.
