Through asana (postures), pranayama (breath work), and meditation, I use the teachings of yoga to promote a healthy mind, body, and spirit. I have experience teaching individuals of many ages from many different walks of life. My favorite part about being a yoga instructor is getting to know my clients and helping them grow both physically and mentally. People may encounter many different kinds of stressors, struggles, and changes throughout their lifetime, practicing yoga can help you work through these challenges with support and guidance. Yoga is so much more than just poses linked together in a series, it can be a lifestyle that improves mental health and overall well being. I am passionate about helping my students learn about themselves and the world around them through their practice. Yoga is different for every person because nobody is exactly the same. Remember, it is okay to embrace where you are now and still want to improve!
I am a 200 hour certified yoga instructor with a 10 hour yama and niyama training.
Growth and Empowerment is offering yoga and meditation-based group therapy to help clients not only connect to their emotions but also to their mind, body and soul. This is a holistic approach we hope to help our clients further their empowerment of self and increase self-care and self-love. We also offer individual yoga and meditation sessions depending on the needs of the client and the therapist they are working with.
