About
Taking that first step for mental health care can feel like a lot: a new person, new questions, and maybe some worry about what to expect. My goal is for you to feel heard and respected, and to know you can say what’s really on your mind without fear of judgment. I’ll start by listening to what’s been going on, what you’ve already tried, and what you want your days to feel like. Then we’ll decide on next steps together. I provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for adults and adolescents. I can help with depression, generalized anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD and other trauma-related concerns, OCD, and sleep difficulties. I also work closely with your therapist, so your care feels connected and everyone is working toward the same goals.
Qualifications and Approach:
I am a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the state of New Jersey, certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center. I earned my Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University. I have spent over a decade working in inpatient behavioral health, where I cared for people during some of the hardest moments of their lives. I take a whole-person approach, combining evidence-based treatment with lifestyle strategies that support both your physical and mental well-being. Medication can be a helpful part of care for many people, but it isn’t one-size-fits-all, and it isn’t the only tool. I’ll make sure you understand your options, and I’ll work with you to build a treatment plan that fits your life and supports lasting health.
