About
Danielle Scollins, LSW
I believe we are all deserving of a safe supportive space to explore the many thoughts that remain untold. Maya Angelou says, “there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.” I believe in providing an emotionally safe place for individuals to explore those untold truths. In my role as a therapist, I will provide a non-judgmental environment to learn about you and your story. I can help you to identify therapeutic goals and a path to heal. I recognize the strength and courage it takes to begin or continue to work on yourself in therapy and I look forward in the opportunity to help you to navigate this journey.
Qualifications
I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. I have over 10 years of experience working with survivors of interpersonal violence and other forms of trauma. I earned my Masters of Social Work, as well as a certificate in Violence Against Women and Children from Rutgers University in 2015. I am trained in EMDR therapy and have been utilizing this technique since 2018. I believe in a client-centered, trauma informed approach that focuses on the client’s individual resilience and strength to heal.
