About

I believe that everyone is capable of leading fulfilling lives and overcoming adversity and mental health challenges. A part of life is learning to cope with the challenges and hardships presented to us. As a counselor, I strive to offer a warm and empathetic therapeutic environment where I can help my clients develop healthy coping skills, foster a sense of resiliency, and acknowledge their inner strengths. Everyone is capable of growth, but sometimes we need an extra boost along the way.

Qualifications and Approach:

I have previous experience co-facilitating counseling groups for depression and anxiety, and I approach treatment with clients from a Person-Centered and Gestalt perspective. I am also greatly influenced by Positive Psychology and strive to help clients optimize their stress and strengthen their resiliency skills. I am certified in psychological first aid, social and behavioral research, and have an abnormal psychology specialization. I am currently a graduate student at The College of New Jersey studying Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I graduated from Stockton University in 2023 with a B.A. in Psychology with a concentration in Forensic Psychology and a minor in Victimology and Victim Services. As a counselor, I strive to deliver an empathetic approach to therapy where I can help my clients become the best versions of themselves and develop healthy skills to overcome life’s challenges, all while maintaining positive mental health.
