About

My most effective therapeutic intervention is fostering an authentic, compassionate connection with my clients to help honor their strength and resilience throughout the healing journey. It is very important to me to create a genuine, judgment-free zone where my clients feel safe and comfortable. My approach to treatment pulls from a combination of psychodynamic, humanistic, and behavioral theories. I also believe starting with a person-centered approach where therapy should be individualized to best meet clients personal goals and needs. I value the trust you place in me as your therapist, your willingness to be open in our sessions and discuss emotional and vulnerable topics.

Qualification:

I am a Licensed Social Worker in the State of New Jersey with a Masters Degree from Rutgers University. I have experience in working with a broad age range of survivors of interpersonal violence, domestic violence, sexual violence, and other forms of trauma. I am trained in several treatment modalities including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma Focus Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I enjoy helping my clients develop emotional regulation skills, healthy boundaries, and self-care practices to make meaningful and sustainable changes to improve their relationships and mental health.
